(1) Jehovah reigns! His purple regal robe
Is strength, establishing unmov’d the globe.

(2) From ancient dawn his throne has stood secure;
From everlasting, Lord, you still endure.

(3) Unending waves in ceaseless, drenching praise
Scatter their foam in misty sheets of haze.

(4) Yet more expansive, mightier is He
Who formed the ancient deeps, the boundless sea.

(5) No fury of the waves unmoors your word;
Within your house, no wickedness is heard.
